The assignment supported Al Ain Dairy in reviewing and improving internal business processes, controls, and operating procedures. Working through Grant Thornton, Dr Bilal Ahmad contributed as a Consultant, Business Process Re-engineering, with a focus on business risk services and process improvement. The work reviewed functional workflows, control gaps, documentation standards, reporting practices, and risk points across relevant operating areas. The assignment helped the client improve process clarity, accountability, and internal control discipline. It also supported management in identifying areas where operating procedures, approvals, documentation, and monitoring routines required strengthening to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
