BAZ was engaged to support the World Bank Group technical assistance programme for microfinance institutions and off-grid solar distributors in Pakistan. The programme aimed to support Pakistan’s energy transition by improving financial sustainability, environmental performance, and access to finance for clean energy solutions. BAZ Consultants provided targeted advisory support to partner organizations through webinars and one-to-one technical assistance calls. The work covered business planning, credit and collections, access to finance, institutional restructuring, operational resilience, and digitization. The support helped participating organizations sharpen their financing models and strengthen their ability to serve customers in the off-grid solar market.
